Benalmadena Costa
Benalmadena Costa is a main tourist area, which attracts all ages. Beaches stretch for 9km and the area boasts a beautiful marina where boat trips are available in abundance. Watersports, restaurants and shops are plentiful plus additional activities for the more adventurous eg.parascending, quad biking. There are local craft and leather markets and trips to places of interest.
Buses: The coastal bus service runs along the seafront road. There is also an excellent circular service running between the village (Benalmadena Pueblo) and the port.

Mijas
About 10 mins drive from the apartment, Mijas is a traditional Andalucian
village with whitewashed streets, nestling in a mountain landscape.
In Mijas the following events take place throughout the month.: Every Tuesday (except July and August). Weekly Flamenco shows organised by the town hall at midday in the main square in Mijas village. The entertainers are the municipal dance group and spectators are offered a free glass of Malaga wine, courtesy of the Mijas Tourist Office.

Mijas Water park is a family friendly waterpark at the heart of the Costa del Sol. Open May through September. The park offers everything for a full day of sun and exciting water adventures. Great value.
Torremolinos water park is a place where you can spend a day having lots of fun with the best aquatic attractions one can ever imagine. Also, this year the park offers a new attraction: the “Boomerang”, plus relaxing green areas and 18-hole mini golf course.
